Bethany Ellerbrook is a librarian/archivist, who has worked for the University of Washington Libraries, UW Special Collections, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Film Archive, as well as the Walt Disney Animation Research Library.

Her studies have spanned from an undergraduate focus on film history and production, to graduate coursework on information access, institutional advocacy, and preservation strategies. She is an alumna of both the Academy Gold Talent and Inclusion Program and Disney Professional Internships, as well as a current member of the Society of American Archivists.

Her research interests include digital and media literacy for youth, and pursuit of long-term preservation standards for digital materials.

Bethany studied Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas at Austin, and received her MLIS from the University of Washington. She lives in Los Angeles.
